VINEYARD AND WINEMAKING NOTES

Minimal Cropping, coupled with a long hot Hawkes Bay summer, gave us high quality fruit, which was then harvested by hand and whole bunch pressed.  A Partial wild ferment contributed to the complexity of this wine.  Once fermentation was completed, the wine underwent Malo-Lactic fermentation in barrel, and was aged for a further 18 months prior to bottling.
