In Martinborough, bud burst was a week earlier than normal been a frost free spring progressing into a long warm dry hot summer. Perfect conditions to harvest this fruit were delivered to our winery within 6 hours for process.
Tank fermented to retain fruit character then held for one year for development prior to bottling.

Nose: Citrus zest and gooseberry
Taste: Off dry mineral driven with an underlying spring zest character.
