2016 Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyard and Wine making notes.
Outstanding growing season rivaling 2014. The Esk Valley micro-climate provided an excellent platform in which to create excellent wines. To emphasize our region pushing the fruit profile and our terroir. Our estate grown Sauvignon Blanc was barrel fermented, barrel aged and lee stirred weekly. This process is to ensure good palate weight and flavour extraction from the lee, also incorporating a distinct barrel character which defines this Sauvignon Blanc.

Eye : Light pale green hue
Nose: Intense tropical notes with passionfruit and white flesh stone fruits dominating
Taste: Intense aromatics on the nose coupled with a round almost creamy texture makes this wine an absolute delight. A crisp backbone supporting the fruit characters provides structure to this wine whilst allowing the fruit expression of Hawkes Bay to dominate.
